bridgett mazer

owner, principal designer, allied ASID, NKBA


A nationally recognized, award-winning designer, Bridgett is inspired by the beautiful coast and the breathtaking views that can be found here in Wilmington.  Her doors opened in 2002 after completing an undergraduate degree in Interior Design with a minor in Psychology.  Bridgett loves a challenge and is relentless in her pursuit of new and innovative ideas and products. 


Whether the client is interested in designing within their comfort zone or living on the creative edge, Bridgett adapts her skills and experience accordingly.  Since 2002, Bridgett’s business has grown exponentially, including the addition of a sister company- B. Collective Co.- a designer lighting gallery, and a beautifully appointed Design Studio in the heart of Wilmington. The heart and soul of the team, Bridgett’s calm, confident demeanor sets the tone for an unparalleled design experience. 


When Bridgett is not in the studio or on site with a client, she can be found cruising on the Intracoastal Waterway with her husband, Kevin, son Landon, daughter Ava, and her furry child, Charleston.


morgan reiner

interior designer, allied ASID, NKBA


Born in Ohio and raised in Texas in a family of creatives, Morgan found and explored her passion for design at a young age.  A graduate of Cape Fear Community College with a degree in Interior Design, she began working at Bridgett Mazer Interiors as an intern and was the first member of Bridgett’s team! 


Professional growth is of utmost importance to Morgan, always on top of new trends, products and techniques in the design industry. She understands the value of a seamless design process and prioritizes growing her connection with local builders and subcontractors.  Morgan is proud to provide an organized, stress-free experience, and embraces each step of the process- from initial selections to installation day.


When not in the Design Studio or in the field with clients, Morgan can be found enjoying time outside with her husband, dog, and daughter, Madison.

Following a degree in interior design from CFCC and becoming a member of ASID and NKBA, she unleashed her creativity across the eastern coast of North Carolina and beyond.  At each stop she has transformed high-end residential properties and help set a new standard as part of Bridgett Mazer Interiors.  She is also honored to serve on the Advisory Board for Cape Fear Community College Interior Design. 


With 15 years of design experience, including five with Bridgett Mazer Interiors, Chris delights in finding ways to blend her signature approach with her clients’ own style to create a beautiful and deeply personal design. Her core design aesthetic adapts well to everything from traditional to contemporary design, infusing each with a sense of timelessness informed by her innate sense of style.


When she’s not helping clients achieve their dreams, she can be found spending time with family and friends, boating, and capturing inspiration through the lens of her camera.


brandy crawford

interior designer, Allied ASID, NKBA


With a degree from the New York Institute of Art and Design and over a decade of professional experience, Brandy has honed her crisp, timeless style.  She is a creative thinker with an artistic vision for living and workspaces, creating polished looks that are functional as well as beautiful. 


Brandy prides herself on attention to detail, values quality, and prioritizes her clients’ interests and lifestyle when curating her designs.  A native to North Carolina, Brandy is an avid tennis player and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

lindsay leggett-stone

interior designer, allied ASID, NKBA


At Bridgett Mazer Interiors Lindsay Leggett-Stone is an Interior Designer specializing in space planning, floor plans and 3D renderings.  Lindsay prides herself on daring design, devotion to her work, and attention to detail. 


Originally from Arkansas, Lindsay spent over a decade in NYC working as an actor before she found her forever home in Wilmington, North Carolina. Prior to earning her Interior Design Degree from Cape Fear Community College, Lindsay owned and operated an e-commerce and retail home décor store.  Interior Design has become a celebrated natural progression of the canvas of Lindsay’s creative life. 


 In her downtime Lindsay can be found cycling on her Peloton, pampering her pup with play sessions and spending time with her husband.

Ashley Brown

Commercial Interior Designer, Allied ASID | NKBA


Born in Waco, Texas and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina, Ashley’s passion for design and art began at a very young age. Ashley entered her college journey with an art scholarship which was nurtured from her love of woodworking, painting and jewelry design. In addition to her Interior Design degree from Cape Fear, Ashley also holds a diploma in Advanced Kitchen and Bath Design. At BMI, Ashley is a Commercial Designer, utilizing all of her skill sets in design, project management and communication. Her philosophy with design is to create spaces that are personal, reflective, and a little edgy. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs in the great outdoors!

Kate Reynolds

Interior Designer, Allied ASID, NKBA

A North Carolina native, Kate has spent her lifetime visiting the beautiful coast of Wilmington from her hometown of Cary, N.C. Kate has been drawn to design and understood her passion to pursue it as a career after growing up engulfed in her father’s general commercial contracting firm in Raleigh, NC. Kate has worked hand in hand with her father for years and has extensive experience in all phases of the commercial build process. She has even been appointed the Principal Designer on several of these commercial projects. Kate graduated from Cape Fear College with an interior design degree and holds a diploma specializing in Kitchen and Bath Design.

At B. Collective Company, Kate specializes as the Residential Lighting Designer. Focusing on lighting plans and layouts, Kate understands the impact and importance of matching the right light for each room, as it is truly the “jewelry” of the home. Lighting changes the way you feel when you walk into a space!

When Kate is not at work you will find her enjoying our local cafes with friends.

chrissy absi

cabinetry design specialist, interior designer, allied ASID, NKBA


Chrissy is an award-winning Interior Designer who began her design journey with a degree from NCSU’s School of Design.  Her career started in the nation’s furniture capital, High Point, North Carolina, as a fabric buyer for a national furniture manufacturer.  A skilled artisan of fabric, threads, texture and color, Chrissy created a name for herself with her cutting-edge style and classic aesthetic. 


She is highly skilled at curating timeless styles under a variety of budgets, styles and time frames, providing professional guidance through every phase of the design process. Chrissy spent nearly ten years leading over twenty jobs at a time with local builders.


When Chrissy is not at work you will find her enjoying the scenic views and diverse lifestyle of historic Downtown Wilmington where she resides.


gordon massengill

cabinetry design specialist


Gordon boasts over 30 years of teaching experience, over a decade in cabinet design, and has completed several personal home remodels. In addition to his position at BMI, Gordon is the Owner of Spaces Reconfigured, LLC. 


He is passionate about space planning, cabinet design, and creating floor plans to match his clients’ needs. His work has been recognized in local publications and featured in the Parade of Homes- a showcase of the region’s finest homes.  Gordon’s reputation precedes him, and his attention to detail and awareness of his clients’ needs are unmatched in the industry. 


When Gordon is not buried under piles of CAD drawings or on a job site, he can be found in Downtown Wilmington enjoying a coffee or a craft beer with friends.

daniel bowden

lighting designer specialist, Allied ASID


With over 25 years of experience in luxury interior design, Daniel Bowden has worked nationwide for clients from Palm Beach to New York and Washington, D.C. An ASID member with a degree in Interior and Architectural Design, he has worked as a Corporate Buyer and spent time as an instructor of Commercial and Residential Design. 


At B. Collective Co. Daniel is an invaluable resource, set apart by his ability to serve our clients from the perspective of a licensed Interior Designer.   In his spare time Daniel enjoys spending time on the water with his family.

kymbra bryan

business director


A Virginia native with a Political Science degree from James Madison University, Kymbra has called Wilmington home since 2000. Experienced in nonprofit work with the American Heart Association and the Augusta History Museum, she is a powerhouse for the BMI team. 


Additionally, Kymbra worked as a real estate paralegal and continues to be involved in the local real estate investment market.  She also holds an active North Carolina real estate license. 


When Kymbra isn’t crunching numbers at the office, she can be found tending her garden, walking the Loop at Wrightsville Beach or enjoying Wilmington’s diverse restaurant scene.

With extensive experience in Guest Services and Advertising Sales, Courtney excels in client relationship building.  At the studio she is the liaison between Bridgett Mazer Interiors, their clients and the entire BMI team. 


She is also the first smiling face seen when you walk through the doors! A mother of three sons and two dogs, Courtney enjoys travel, time with friends and time on the water with her family.

At Bridgett Mazer Interiors Karen’s areas of focus are Brand Development, Press + Media, Client Relations, photography and social media.  Karen embodies a unique blend of professional experience including residential real estate brokerage, visual merchandising, high-end retail management, and photography. 

She received a degree in Clothing and Textiles from Virginia Tech and is the mom of identical twin boys and two Labrador Retrievers.  Karen holds an active North Carolina real estate license and sold real estate for years in Northern Virginia and Wilmington, NC. 


Wearer of many hats, Karen can be found on site coordinating photo shoots, planning parties, submitting work for press, always with an eye toward building the Bridgett Mazer Interiors brand.   

russ armstrong

A jack-of-all-trades, Russ Armstrong is an integral part of BMI’s daily operations and client service. 


Originally from Asheboro, NC, he has experience in lighting design, lighting installation, plumbing and remodeling, plus extensive involvement in shipping and receiving.  Russ’ skills fall seamlessly in line with the needs that arise in the design industry, and Bridgett Mazer Interiors is glad to have his services not only in the office but in the field as well. 


When Russ is not working, he can be found surfing, fishing or boating in the beautiful waters off the coast of Wilmington, NC.

CDO, chief dog officer


Native of North Carolina, Charleston is part King Charles Cavalier & part Poodle, (also referred to as "Cavapoo"). As CDO, Charleston’s role in the company is to relieve anxiety in the atmosphere and accept any petting or rubbing that is needed when an employee may have stress.


He takes his role very seriously.  He shows up every day with a great attitude and is an amazing greeter.


When Charleston is not catering to the needs of the Designers, you will find him playing tug of war with his toy squirrel, chasing rabbits, or his very favorite…walking the Wrightsville Beach Loop & marking his territory with every step he takes.
